Simply add items to your cart and from the checkout choose Collect option.
Enter your payment details on our checkout and place your order. You will receive an email confirming your order is being processed. You will receive confirmation your order is 'ready for collection' at which point you can then collect your order.
What time do i need to place my order for click & collect
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 11am will be available for same day collect. Next business day if ordered at the weekend or Bank Holiday's
How do i know which product is available to collect same day?
Click & Collect is only available on selected items online. Selected items will be easily identified online with a Click & Collect logo.
What Proof Of ID Do I Need To Bring?
You must bring the order confirmation email which will have your unique order reference number. This can be printed or shown on a smart phone or tablet device. Make sure to bring additional identification i.e. driving licence or passport.
Remember you only visit the store once you have received confirmination your order is 'ready for collection'.
What Happens If I Arrive Before Receiving Confirmation My Items Are Ready For Collection?
Unfortunately we may not have your items ready for collection so please wait for confirmation that your order is ready.
What Happens If My Ordered Item(S) Is Not Available?
On the rare occasion that an item is not available we will contact you to discuss your order.

· Delivery nationwide is €39.99
· Small item delivery in Galway city and county is €4.99

· In Store Collection for a large appliance is free.
· In Store Collection for a small appliance is free.

Delivery Times Our standard deliveries are made between the hours of 9.30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. A signature will be required upon delivery. For large appliances our driver will contact you prior to delivery Items which we have to special order from the manufacturer may take longer to deliver. You will be notified if there is an extended delivery on any item you purchase
Will you collect my old appliance?
Yes, on delivery of a large appliance we’ll collect your old appliance for free on a like for like basis. I.e. if you order a washing machine, we'll take away your old one for free. Please ensure your old appliance is disconnected, clean and ready for removal.
What happens if I miss my delivery? For large items, if nobody is home to accept the delivery, it will be returned to our warehouse and a re-delivery will be scheduled. Returns Policy Please read our returns policy prior to purchasing from Peter murphy Lighting & Electrical Ltd, in order to familiarise yourself with our policies on returns, refunds, repairs and your legal rights. We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods which we have delivered to you or that you have collected from our store, to ensure that all products are of acceptable quality and as described. We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the unopened goods to us.
We aim to deliver large appliances within 4/5 working days (subject to availability). We aim to delivery small appliances within 2/3 working days (subject to availability).
If you’re unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Unless faulty, this must be within 14 days. We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the goods to us and we will organise a refund. Such refund will not be later than 14 days from notice to us of order cancellation. Your right to cancel your order When you purchase online you have a statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days; you then have 14 days from the date you cancelled the order to return the product to Peter Murphy Lighting & Electrical Ltd. It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods prior to returning them; you are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting in the handing of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their functionality and suitability. Please note: a. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. A full refund of the value of the goods will be issued upon proof of the items being returned. b. Hygiene seals on any personal care products such as shavers must be intact. c. Customised or personalised goods cannot be refunded or exchanged. d. You the customer are responsible for the due care of the products being returned. This Returns Policy is in accordance with The European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013. Your Consumer Rights Consumer contracts are protected by the Sale of Good and Supply of Services Act 1980 (as amended) (“the Act”) and other applicable legislation. Refunds Refunds will be made by us via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within 3-5 working days. Return of Faulty Goods If a product is defective in any way, please arrange to return the item by contacting us at [email protected] or calling 091 525224. An acknowledgement or your request to return will be provided. We will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product. In some cases, an inspection of the product by a qualified engineer may be required. A repair or replacement product may be offered. Standard delivery charged will be refunded. Repair of Faulty Goods Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time frame. These times may vary due to reasons beyond our control. If items are deemed to have been damaged due to misuse or accident, or in cases where your statutory rights or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply; you may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight charges. We recommend that you back up data stored on any devise prior to sending it back for repair as the repair or replacement may result in a loss of said data. This includes files stored on hard drives, photos and music stored on mobile devices. We will not be responsible for any data loss.
You have the statutory right to a 14 day cooling-off period when purchasing online. If a product is defective in any way, please return it with a covering letter and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund the cost of the product.

No. You can recycle any of the above items at our store even if you have not made a purchase with us. How do I return my old product to be recycled?
You can return your old product to us during our opening hours.
Will you collect my old product? If you are getting a new product delivered we’ll take your old one back to be recycled. Please ensure your old appliance is disconnected, clean and ready for the driver at the time of delivery. Do you take back used batteries? Yes we do. In our store you will find recycling bins for batteries. The batteries that we accept are AA, AAA, C or D and also the flat batteries that are found in watches and toys. Unfortunately we do not accept back any Industrial or car batteries. How much will it cost?
